Melik Emir Gazi, known for his bravery and miracles and of the 12 sons of Danishmend Gümüştekin Ahmet Gazi who made Kayseri a Turkish town, died in 1131. His tomb is near the fortress, which he conquered in the village called Melikgazi in Pınarbaşı. It is a complex with is surrounding, mosque, medresse and kitchen. His mummy is under the tomb, in a coffin. The tomb carries the characteristics of Seljuk Architecture and is an old place of visit.
